Parallax.
End-to-end design and frontend for a B2B analytics dashboard. Shipped on time, on brand.
The brief
An analytics product their customers would actually use.
Parallax sells a B2B analytics platform to mid-market SaaS companies. Their existing dashboard had been built iteratively over three years, with every feature added by a different engineer, no shared design language. Customer feedback was direct: “powerful, but I can’t find anything.”
The leadership team had committed to a relaunch by Q1. The constraint was real: twelve weeks, a fixed budget, and feature parity with the existing dashboard plus three new headline capabilities.
Approach
Design and code in the same sprint.
We compressed the typical design-then-build sequence. Each week, designs went straight to a working prototype in the actual codebase, with no Figma-to-code translation tax. Customers tested real software, not screenshots.
We also rebuilt the information architecture from scratch, using card-sort sessions with seven of Parallax’s power users. The result wasn’t just visually cleaner. It cut the depth of the most-used flows from five clicks to two.
